Dan R. Duncan
IT/Laboratory Director
Mr. Duncan is Lab & IT Director for the Avogadro Group, LLC (Avogadro) and has been directly involved with source testing since 1987. Dan is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining Avogadro, Dan was a project manager for Carnot Technical Services, Inc. and was a field engineer for Brown and Caldwell.
Dan's source testing experience covers many different industries and many different types of sources. The sources he has tested include those associated with glass manufacturing, power generation, oil and gas refining, hazardous and municipal waste incineration, and asphalt and cement production just to name a few. His work experience in source testing includes sample collection, sample analysis, project engineering and management, information technology management, equipment management, and logistical support. His current duties include directing the laboratory ,procuring, implementing, and maintaining IT equipment, reviewing and editing documents, and mentoring and training new employees.
Dan enjoys the variety in his day-to-day work and he enjoys doing work that ultimately has a positive impact on the environment. He believes the continuously evolving work he does always keeps things fresh and interesting.
