Robert M. Odell
Laboratory Manager
Mr. Odell is the Laboratory Manager for Avogadro. He joined Avogadro in 2007 and served as a Field Technician for three years. He is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a BS in Chemical Engineering. Robert joined Avogadro soon after graduation.
Robert’s work experience began with the analysis of VOC samples by gas chromatography in Avogadro’s laboratory. His experience extended to field sample recovery and the performance of a wide range of tests using many of the test methods from federal, state and local agencies. Robert has recently managed a project using a modified USEPA flux chamber to collect fugitive emissions from area sources. He has also been trained to operate the CEMS in Avogadro’s mobile labs and operates Avogadro’s Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrophometer. His FTIR sampling experience includes the collection of real-time ammonia (used in the tuning of SCRs), hydrogen chloride, and oxygenated compounds from ethanol production processes.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys playing basketball, volleyball and softball.
