Samantha C. Oliva
Laboratory Technician
Samantha Oliva has been a Laboratory technician for Avogadro since 2010. Samantha is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a BS in Animal Biology. At Davis Samantha focused her studies on ecotoxicology. Samantha joined Avogadro soon after graduation.
While at UC Davis, Samantha was student assistant in the toxicology department for the California Animal Health and Food Safety Laboratory.
Now as a member of the Avogadro Team, Samantha performs liquid-liquid extractions, titrations, data analysis, sample preparation, gravimetric analysis, and operation of an ion selective electrode following EPA, South Coast Air Quality Management District, and Bay Area Air Quality Management District methodology.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and reading.
