Mr. Stucker, a specialist in air pollution source testing and assessment, founded The Avogadro Group, LLC (Avogadro) in 1997. A biochemistry graduate of the University of California at Davis, he has been involved with emission measurement since 1978. Before starting Avogadro, he was a senior consultant with Carnot Technical Services, Inc.
He previously spent 8 years as Manager of the air-monitoring program for Brown and Caldwell. He was also Manager of environmental testing for Ogden Projects, Inc., and spent ten years at Chemecology Corporation, six as Technical Director and the last two as Executive Vice President. Tom has extensive experience specific to source testing of glass melting furnaces and fiberglass forming lines, as well as all types of power plant and steam generation units. He has specialized in projects that involved hazardous and municipal waste incinerator testing, toxic emissions, and petroleum and chemical refining processes.
He particularly enjoys the recruiting, training, and career development of source testers so that they may effectively serve thier clients. Measuring air pollution emissions is hard work and takes a very specific skill set and personality to excel in. Linking people with the appropriate skill and attitude with our clients and their needs is as much an art as it is a science.
