Date:03-17-09
Project Description
Avogadro regularly tests emissions from coal-fired power plants and plants fired with petroleum coke. The tests include emissions of PM, PM10, PM2.5, SO2, H2SO4, NOX, CO, ammonia and VOC and routinely include RATA of the plant CEMS. Tests have been conducted on pulverized coal units and fluidized bed units, and have included mercury by EPA Method 30B and Ontario Hydro, metals, PAH, aldehydes, etc. Many successful mercury CEMS RATA programs have been conducted, as well as flow characterization in and out of emission control devices, acid and SO3 studies, and tests in challenging locations within the process. The tests have met or exceeded client expectations, as much of the work has been repeat business.
