Wood-fired Power Plant - Emissions from Different Fuels

Date:02-01-09

Project Description

Tests were conducted to measure emissions of various HAPS and PM from a wood-fired boiler burning three mixes of urban wood waste and biomass. Five regulatory agencies were stakeholders in this trial since normal hogged wood fuel is becoming more scarce and expensive. Samples were shipped to the specialized laboratories with strict adherence to DOT and IATA regulations for shipment of dangerous goods. This high-profile program was conducted according to plan, and the data quality surpassed our client’s expectations.
