CAREERS: Field Technician
Job Overview:
This entry-level position (Avogadro will train) includes, but is not limited to, the calibration and preparation of electronic measurement equipment, driving the mobile laboratories to business and industrial locations throughout the United States, assemble and operate the sampling equipment (typically on a stack anywhere from ground level to 200 feet above ground level), recover the equipment and travel home.
Qualifications:
High school diploma with science or technical classes completed (a four-year college Bachelors degree is preferable). The applicant should be able to lift over 75 pounds, be unafraid of heights, and have a good driving record (must be insurable).
Status: Full-Time
Location: Antioch, California; Medford, Oregon; and Portland, Oregon
Working Days: Varies, but typically Monday through Friday
Hours Per Day: Varies, approximately 30-60 hours per week
Travel Required: Yes, approximately 75% of the time
